Christopher Priest

"The Stooge"

Christopher Priest (14 July 1943 – 2 February 2024) was a celebrated British novelist and science fiction writer known for his intricate and imaginative storytelling. His acclaimed works include Fugue for a Darkening Island (1972), The Inverted World (1974), The Affirmation (1981), The Glamour (1984), The Prestige (1995), and The Separation (2002). The Prestige, which explores the intense rivalry between two magicians, was adapted into a successful film by Christopher Nolan. Priest's talent extended to screenwriting, including his work on Rogelio Fojo's The Stooge. Influenced by H.G. Wells, Priest was vice-president of the international H.G. Wells Society. He received numerous accolades, including the BSFA award, the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, and the World Fantasy Award. He lived in various parts of the UK, most recently on the Isle of Bute, and was married to speculative fiction writer Nina Allan until his passing.

Teika Marija Smits

she is delighted by the fact that Teika means fairy tale in Latvian.

David Gerrold

"The Man Who Broke Time"

David Gerrold is the author of over 50 books, hundreds of articles and columns, and over a dozen television episodes. He is a classic sci-fi writer that will go down in history as having created some of the most popular and redefining scripts, books, and short stories in the genre.

Additionally, the autobiographical tale of his son’s adoption, The Martian Child, won the Hugo and Nebula awards for Best Novelette of the Year and was the basis for the 2007 movie, Martian Child, starring John Cusack, Amanda Peet, and Joan Cusack.

RC Matheson

His latest projects include writing and producing a Stephen King limited series, producing a re-make film of “The Shrinking Man,” starring Oscar winner Jean Dujardin, two new short story collections, a new novel, Introductions and stories in ten upcoming collections and anthologies. He is the president of Matheson Entertainment.
