Alejandro Burdisio
"One Million Times" Book Illustrator
Alejandro Miguel Burdisio, known artistically as Burda, was born in Córdoba on May 9, 1966. He is a self-taught artist, dedicated to drawing, painting, and illustration professionally since the age of 19. His academic background includes an incomplete stint at the Córdoba School of Architecture, which was pivotal in shaping his career as an illustrator and designer. With over 30 years of experience as an illustrator, he now runs his own graphic studio (which bears his name), working for both local and international clients.
He has long been dedicated to fantasy art, which currently allows him to participate in animation productions, short films, video games, and movies as a concept artist for various production companies worldwide. He travels, giving training lectures and presentations at universities throughout the country and Latin America.

Alejandro Burdisio is also known as a concept artist for the Netflix anthology series Love, Death + Robots.
Emma Howitt

Emma Howitt is a UK-based artist known for her captivating illustrations in speculative fiction and fantasy. She has contributed to works such as The Forgotten and the Fantastical 3 (2017) and Witch Hunt (2022),
With more recent projects like Nine Dioptres and Lanterns in 2023. Emma’s distinctive ability to bring intricate details to life is showcased in her illustration of Teika Marija Smits' story "The Art of Time Travel" for the book One Million Times.



Alex Storer
"The Man Who Broke Time" Illustrator
Alex Storer is an illustrator and graphic designer with a deep passion for science fiction, an influence which has shaped both his visual art and music. He is the creative force behind 'The Light Dreams,' a conceptual instrumental music project blending electronic and ambient styles to create immersive, otherworldly soundscapes.
Alex's artistic journey began in his childhood, inspired by classic science fiction such as Doctor Who, Star Wars and Tron alongside the work of the SF art masters of the 1970s and 80s. Alex has developed a distinctive style that merges retro-futuristic aesthetics with modern techniques. His illustrations often feature vivid, dream-like depictions of futuristic landscapes and environments.
In addition to working with numerous authors and publishers, Alex’s work is frequently exhibited within the UK science fiction convention scene and has previously appeared in Doctor Who Magazine, ImagineFX Magazine, Computer Arts, Writing and Illustrating the Graphic Novel (Mike Chinn) and How to Draw and Sell Comics (Alan McKenzie).
Chris Baker "Fangorn"

Chris is a renowned conceptual and storyboard artist who has significantly influenced the film industry. Born in Birmingham, England, he gained recognition through his work on the Redwall book covers and caught the eye of Stanley Kubrick with his art for David Gemmell's Legend. This led to his involvement in designing concepts for Kubrick's A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, a project he continued with Steven Spielberg after Kubrick's passing.
Chris has since collaborated with filmmakers like Tim Burton and Sam Mendes, contributing to iconic films such as Road to Perdition, War of the Worlds, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, Skyfall, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Ready Player One and the TV sequel to The Man Who Fell to Earth. He is a member
of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists..
